IH ARTS CONSERVATORY: Indian Hill High School Student-Artists Advance in Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition

Eight braves earn regional and state accolades for 17 creations

The Indian Hill School District and Indian Hill Arts Conservatory celebrate the eight Indian Hill High School student-artists who advanced a total of 17 artworks to the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition becoming 2026 Regional and State award winners. The Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition recognizes outstanding artistic achievement among high school students across the state. This year, the exhibition received 5,786 submissions from approximately 2,100 students, making it one of the most competitive showcases of young artistic talent in Ohio.

Regional Award Winners include:

  • Sylvie Gumlaw
  • Jenisha Rana (2 works)
  • Olivia Zhao (3 works)
  • Caroline Winks
  • Clairette Yang
  • Jinming Gu (3 works)
  • Iris Xu (2 works)
  • Rivvy Green (4 works)

State Award Winners include:

  • Caroline Winks
  • Clairette Yang
  • Olivia Zhao (2 works)
  • Jinming Gu

“All of our students who participated in this year’s Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition demonstrated incredible creativity, discipline, and courage in sharing their work,” said Indian Hill Arts & Activities Director Amy Clark. “To see so many of our students recognized at both the regional and state levels is a testament to not only to their individual talent, but also to the strength of our visual arts program and the dedication of our faculty. We are so proud of how these students continue to grow as artists and storytellers.”

All state-recognized artworks will be exhibited at the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus from April 12 through May 14, offering the public an opportunity to experience the creativity and talent of Ohio’s top young artists.
