The Indian Hill School District has announced that current Indian Hill High School Assistant Principal Danielle Lintz has been selected as the next principal of Indian Hill Elementary School, pending Board of Education approval. Her appointment will take effect for the 2026-2027 school year. Lintz will succeed current Principal Whitney Buell, who will serve the upcoming school year as the district’s Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.

“Danielle Lintz is an exceptional educator and leader who understands the heart of Indian Hill,” said Indian Hill Superintendent Dr. Melissa Stewart. “Her experience across grade levels, her commitment to student-centered learning, and her ability to build meaningful relationships make her the ideal choice to lead Indian Hill Elementary School. We are excited to welcome her into this role and confident she will continue to advance our tradition of excellence.”

A dedicated educator and leader, Lintz brings more than two decades of experience in education, including extensive service within the Indian Hill community. She began her career in education in 2000 and joined the Indian Hill School District in 2014. Prior to her current role as assistant principal at Indian Hill High School, Lintz served as the Indian Hill School District K-12 Dean of Students (2022-2023) and as science teacher at Indian Hill Elementary School (2014-2022). During her tenure as a teacher, Lintz also took on leadership roles as an Instructional Coach (2020–2021), Vice President of the Indian Hill Educators Professional Organization (2021–2022), and a member of the Brave Leadership Team (2021–2022). Earlier in her career, she served as a teacher and intervention specialist at North College Hill City Schools from 2001 to 2014.

Lintz earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (1998) and her master’s degree in education (2005) from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

“Returning to Indian Hill Elementary in this new role is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Lintz. “This school holds a special place in my heart, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve our youngest learners, their families, and our dedicated staff. I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and continuing to foster a culture of curiosity, growth, and belonging for every student.”
