Fort Thomas Arts Center to Host ‘A Night at the Arts Center’ on May 9 th.

The 8 North Center for the Arts will host “A Night at the Arts Center” on Friday, May 9, offering an evening of theatre, visual art, and live music to support its ongoing capital campaign.

The multi-genre event will take place from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at 8 N. Fort Thomas Ave., featuring performances and exhibitions across the venue’s theater, gallery, and auditorium spaces. Tickets are $20 and available online at villageplayers.org or at the door.

The night opens with two short plays written by local playwrights Teri Foltz and A.K. Forbes, directed by Stephanie Garvey. Performances will be held at 6 p.m. and repeated at 9 p.m. in the Mary and Don Haas Theater.

Visual artist Dave Klocke will present a live painting demonstration in the Judith M. Sarakatsannis Gallery from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with his full art show on view from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

From 7:30 to 9 p.m., musical duo Knotts will perform in the auditorium, featuring guest vocalist Adalia Powell-Boehne. Drinks will be available for purchase courtesy of Comal.

All proceeds from the event benefit the 8 North Center for the Arts capital campaign, which supports renovations and expansion of the facility. The Center serves as a cultural hub for Fort Thomas and the surrounding region, providing space for community theatre, educational programs, art exhibitions, and music events.
