On May 9th, dozens gathered at the 8 North Center for the Arts for “A Night at the Arts Center”. The evening offered up theatre, visual art and live music. The evening opened with two short plays written by local playwrights Teri Foltz and A.K. Forbes and was directed by Stephanie Garvey and presented in the Mary and Don Haas Theater. Fort Thomas Mayor, Eric Haas, greeted the audience and made opening remarks.

Artist Dave Klocke captivated guests with his painting demonstration in the Judith M. Sarakatsannis Gallery, with his full art show on view. Musical duo Knotts performed in the auditorium, featuring guest vocalist Adalia Powell-Boehne.
All proceeds from the event benefit the 8 North Center for the Arts capital campaign, which supports renovations and expansion of the facility. The Center serves as a cultural hub for Fort Thomas and the surrounding region, providing space for community theatre, educational programs, art exhibitions, and music events.
