Newport’s Steinhauser Celebrates 120 Years of Excellence in Printing

Steinhauser, is a fourth-generation, 100% woman-owned printing company and is proudly celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2025.

Since 1905, Steinhauser been a printing partner in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky business community with a strong commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and customer success.

Steinhauser’s history is one of evolution. Founded as a commercial print shop, the company has adapted over the decades to meet changing industry needs, now specializing in custom prime pressure-sensitive and shrink sleeve labels for consumer product goods companies. Today, Steinhauser’s team brings over 900 years of combined printing expertise.

Steinhauser-produced labels are found on cleaning products, beverages and personal care products. You’ve probably seen many Steinhauser-produced products through the years and never knew it!

A Legacy of Excellence & Partnership

While honoring its rich history, Steinhauser remains focused on growth and progress. The privately held company has achieved an average 21% year-over-year growth since 2019, reinforcing its position as a leader in premium label printing. It also proudly boasts that 50% of the management team are women.

Giving Back

The Steinhauser team has community initiatives each week through their program, Steiny Smiles. Recently, they did a March Madness supply drive for Be Concerned’s food pantry. They’ve also raised money for Birthday Blessings, NewPath, Brighton Center, and more organizations. They’ve also worked on community service projects, including planting trees with ReNewport and the Buddy Walk.

Halpin herself stays active in both the business and local communities. She serves on the Board of Directors of BENKY (formerly TriEd), the Goering Center for Family and Private Business, TLMI (Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute) and the Graphic Media Alliance. She has also volunteered for the Campbell County Judicial Center Project Development Board and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. In 2019, she was named to the Cincinnati Business Courier Women Who Mean Business list.
