Doyle Shea, of Indian Hill was the organizer (class officer) for their reunion held July 18 & 19th. A weekend of fun, reflection and catching up including gathering at Little Miami Brewing, a tour of Indian Hill High School and dinner at Kenwood Country Club.
“We had a wonderful time! If you haven’t gone to a reunion, I highly recommend it. There’s something very healthy about getting together with people who you haven’t seen for many years. Maybe you didn’t know some people in your class very well or others you did, but a reunion gives you an opportunity to learn more about everyone.” Shares Shea.
Have you attended your high school reunions? Social anxiety can play a part in missing out on the fun. “People are not always sure how they will be received when they see someone that they haven’t seen after so much time has passed, but the good news is that everyone else is in the same boat.” Shea emphasizes, “So, while organizing, I made sure that everyone felt welcome.”
And welcomed they were, with dozens from the graduating class of 1995 attending including: Rachel Jeske Katz , Shireen Arani , Jessica Nelson, Jenny Walker McManus, Shree Hamilton, Mary Kovack Ayers, Lori Peterson Forrest, Becky Lubitz , Missy Tullis Tannen, Nick Semertzides, Ryan Gettys, John Hamilton, Rick Rust, Chris Dohrmann, David Bethal, Todd Frakes, Doug Grebe, Heather Renae Horton, Michael Allen, Alisa Curtiss, Stacy Cho, Lisa Forschner and Doyle Shea
Shea would like to thank their class, and also Becky Lubitz and Missy Tullis Tannen who took part in planning the event and did a wonderful job.
“Lastly, it amazed me how many people evolved over the years and to hear about what they have been up to and ultimately, what they have become.” Added Shea.
