Experience Niko Moon at the Merchants & Music Festival this Saturday, 9/20

The Merchants & Music Festival will return for its 21st year on Sept. 20, bringing national and local music acts, food, family entertainment and a new kickoff event in Fort Thomas’ Midway District.

The festival, headlined this year by country artist Niko Moon, will run from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Tower Park. Festival-goers can enjoy a full day of music, food trucks, West Sixth Brewing beer and a kids’ zone. This year, organizers are introducing a Pre-Party Poker Run Pub Crawl from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

How does the Poker Run work? Follow these easy steps!

  • Participants can stop at Midway bars and the West Sixth Beer booth to collect sealed playing cards.
  • Each person can pick up to six cards and will need five to make a poker hand.
  • Cards are turned in at the volunteer booth at Tower Park, where the best hands win festival merchandise and prizes.

Since its launch in 2003, the free festival has grown into Northern Kentucky’s largest music event, spotlighting both national performers such as Bret Michaels, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Andrew McMahon, Dustin Lynch, Dylan Scott, and Gabby Barrett. The event is complete with NKY/Cincinnati food trucks, West Sixth Beer, and a family-friendly kids’ area packed with fun activities like entertainment from Amazing Giants, face painting, balloon artists, and bouncy houses.
