Women-led Philanthropic Group Announces Four $100,000 Grants and two $10,000 Awards in Cincinnati Region
On September 25th, Impact 100 Cincinnati presented four local nonprofits with $100,000 grants to fund innovative community projects, and gave two finalists awards of $10,000 each. The announcements were made at a sold-out event at Cincinnati Music Hall, attended by members and guests. Grant awards are chosen by the women of Impact 100, and awarded annually to fund initiatives that promise to transform our community and improve lives.
“We congratulate each of our nonprofit recipients and look forward to seeing the considerable impact they will make with this infusion of funding,” says Impact 100 President Janet Collins. “Our membership of over 400 women believe in pooling their resources to make these awards possible. Together we are proud to support all of our nonprofit finalists, and invite the community to view the Wish List and donate items that could benefit their work and the people they serve.”

About Impact 100: Founded in Cincinnati in 2001, Impact 100 was born out of a desire to make a greater impact with philanthropic donations through a collective giving concept: women pool their resources together to make a greater change than one can do alone. The concept has stayed the same over 24 years – one hundred percent of membership dollars go directly toward transformational grants. Locally, more than $7.5 million dollars have been awarded to over 70 nonprofits.
From humble beginnings, Impact 100 has grown into a global movement with over 75 chapters around the world. Together, the organizations have awarded more than $160 million in grants.
