Junior Jane Holbrook recognized for leadership, academic achievement, character, and commitment to community involvement
The Indian Hill School District is proud to announce Indian Hill High School junior Jane Holbrook has been selected as a delegate to attend Buckeye Girls State this June at Bowling Green State University.
“We are incredibly proud of Jane for earning this distinguished opportunity,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Andy Gruber. “Her leadership, strong character, and dedication to serving others make her an outstanding representative of Indian Hill High School. We know she will gain valuable experiences through Buckeye Girls State and continue to make a positive impact in our school and community.”
Sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, Buckeye Girls State is a prestigious leadership and citizenship program that provides high school students with hands-on experience in government, public service, and civic engagement through a simulated state government process.
Holbrook was selected based on her demonstrated leadership, academic achievement, character, and commitment to community involvement.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend Buckeye Girls State,” said Holbrook. “I look forward to continuing my interest in government, law, and public service while developing my leadership skills and representing my community.”
Buckeye Girls State brings together students from across Ohio to participate in immersive leadership experiences designed to foster civic understanding, collaboration, and public service. Delegates engage in mock government activities, elections, and policy discussions while developing leadership and communication skills.
