The Indian Hill School District will welcome distinguished alumnus Dr. Timothy Kremchek, Indian Hill High School Class of 1977, as the featured speaker for the sixth installment of Leadership Summit on The Hill on Friday, October 16. A board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, Dr. Kremchek serves as medical director for the Cincinnati Reds and provides medical leadership for Indian Hill and numerous other area school athletic programs. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1986.
Leadership Summit on The Hill is a signature Indian Hill leadership-learning experience designed to connect students directly with accomplished leaders and expose them to the decisions, challenges, perseverance, and experiences that shape successful careers. This year, the district is adding a special focus by bringing accomplished Indian Hill High School alumni back to The Hill to share their leadership journeys.
“Leadership develops when students have opportunities to listen, question, reflect, and engage with people who have actually lived it,” said Jeff Damadeo, Indian Hill Schools director of K–12 leadership and career development. “Dr. Kremchek brings an especially powerful perspective because he once sat where our students sit today. His journey gives our students the opportunity to see what is possible while learning about the work, relationships, and choices that helped him get there.”
The Leadership Summit series is part of the district’s broader commitment to authentic leadership and career-development experiences through the Indian Hill Entrepreneurs’ Center, which connects classroom learning with professionals and real-world opportunities.
For the 2026–27 school year, the district is intentionally leveraging its alumni network to strengthen that experience, inviting graduates to return and invest their expertise in the next generation of Braves.
“Our alumni are one of Indian Hill’s greatest resources,” said Brian Phelps, Indian Hill director of alumni and community advancement. “They represent extraordinary leadership across medicine, business, athletics, the arts, public service, and countless other fields. Bringing Dr. Kremchek home allows our students to learn from someone who began his journey at Indian Hill, went on to achieve at the highest level, and continues to give back to this community. That is what being a Brave for Life is all about.”
