Seven Hills Senior Honored by the LaRosa Family Foundation

The LaRosa Family Foundation recognized its Game Changers MVP honoree with a presentation at Seven Hills School on Tuesday, September 29. Seven Hills senior and basketball captain Anika Kakar was recognized for her work ethic, character and commitment to her teammates, as well as the leadership she demonstrates both on and off the court.

LaRosa’s and beloved mascot Luigi surprised Anika with a Game Changers MVP plaque and celebrated with family, teammates and the Seven Hills School community. Anika will also be featured on The LaRosa Family Foundation’s website and in LaRosa’s social media.

For over 50 years, LaRosa’s has recognized standout high school athletes. Game Changers spotlights not only athletes, but the people who are making a difference in high school sports – coaches, parents, managers, volunteers, trainers, teachers, administrators, and more. Sponsored by The LaRosa Family Foundation, the program celebrates one Game Changer each month who leads with integrity, supports their teams selflessly, gives back to their communities and inspires others through heart and hustle.
