By Chris Eden, Managing Director of Living Magazines
Time truly flies! My wife, Jessie, and I are excited to officially begin our second year as the owners of Living Magazines. This journey has been marked by exciting milestones—not only in our work with the magazine but also in our personal lives, with the arrival of our second baby girl, Lily, in October. She’s a daily reminder of what’s important, and we are excited to watch her to grow up in this amazing community.
As we move into 2025, we’re energized to build on last year’s momentum and continue expanding the reach and impact of Fort Thomas Living. Since 1977, this magazine has provided our community with a refreshing break from the noise of daily life, sharing original, positive, and hyper-local stories that celebrate everything that makes Fort Thomas special. We think that’s more important now than ever, and we’re proud to carry
that tradition forward.
We’re also excited to share that Fort Thomas Living is expanding from a bi-monthly to a monthly publication! This change brings “FTL” in line with its sister publications, Hyde Park Living and Indian Hill Living, allowing us to share even more timely and engaging stories about the people, businesses, and moments that shape our neighborhoods. Following this issue, we plan to produce ten more magazines in 2025. That’s ten more opportunities to read about your neighbors and to support the local businesses who advertise with us!
We’re also excited to expand our digital and social media presence this year. With a refreshed website and neighborhood Facebook groups already connecting over 20,000 readers—including more than 5,000 in the Fort Thomas Living group—we’re blending the reliability of print with the immediacy of digital. These platforms will create new ways for readers and businesses to partner with us and with one another. Please connect with us on Facebook and at http://www.livingmagazines.com to be part of this growing community.
Speaking of connections, we deeply value the support of our local advertisers, whose partnerships make it possible for us to produce and deliver Fort Thomas Living free of charge to residents. As we aim to elevate both the quantity and quality of our future issues, expanding our advertising base is essential. If you or someone you know might be interested in becoming an ad partner, we invite you to visit http://www.livingmagazines.com to learn more and connect with us. As a family-owned, independent business, we understand the power of collaborative, mutually beneficial partnerships, and we’d love to explore how
we can work together in 2025.
Our mission is to ensure Fort Thomas Living remains a cornerstone of our community—a place where local stories are celebrated, milestones are shared, and businesses thrive. If you’ve ever considered advertising, collaborating, submitting stories or otherwise engaging with us, there’s no better time than now. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected Fort Thomas. Here’s to a bright future in 2025!
