Ready to try your hand at painting? On Saturday, June 17th from 10 am-4 pm, the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati is offering a Watercolor Workshop with Andrea Walker.
Do you want to learn how to create vibrant, realistic watercolor paintings? Now is your chance! Join nationally recognized watercolor artist Andrea Walker for this one-day workshop to learn her tips and techniques. She will guide you through the painting from start to finish as we explore texture, color, and depth in watercolor.
In this class, you will paint a colorful watercolor still life and learn:
- How to create rich, deep darks and glowing highlights
- Layering in watercolor to build realistic textures and form
- Strategies for color mixing to make clean, lustrous mixes
- Color palette choices to set up your painting for success
- How to paint both soft and hard edges to create a realistic effect
