Beloved Fort Thomas Restaurant To Become Traveler’s Table, Where Guests Can Travel The World Without Leaving The Table

Taste Food and Wine Group has announced plans to introduce a new restaurant concept this August at 1011 S. Fort Thomas Avenue in Fort Thomas, replacing Grassroots & Vine with an entirely new dining experience.

Traveler’s Table represents the next chapter for restaurateurs Lauren and Challis Hodge, whose restaurant portfolio includes Taste on Elm, Conserva, Taste Cellar & Pantry, and the recently acquired Grassroots & Vine. Opening in August 2026, Traveler’s Table will transform the Grassroots & Vine location into an exciting new dining destination inspired by global flavors and experiences.While specific details are still being finalized, Traveler’s Table will offer a globally inspired dining experience where every meal celebrates the flavors, cultures, and stories of destinations around the world.

“We’re incredibly grateful for the support we have received over the years and excited to introduce something new to the community,” said Challis Hodge, co-owner of Taste Food and Wine Group. “This concept has been in development for quite some time, and we believe it will offer guests a unique experience while continuing our commitment to exceptional food, wine, and hospitality.”

The restaurant space will undergo a transformation ahead of its opening, creating a refreshed atmosphere designed for gathering, conversation, and memorable experiences. Guests can expect both indoor and outdoor seating, along with new offerings that reflect the evolving vision of Taste Food and Wine Group.
