Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation Announces Their Annual Mariemont Paint Out On October 16 & 17

Calling All Artists for Plein Air Competition, with evening Reception and Awards

The Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation announces prizes for the upcoming plein air competition to be held in Mariemont.

The William G. and Jane Helms Charitable Foundation has generously donated sponsorship for the event. First Place will be $750, Second is $500 and Third is $300 plus numerous awards from local businesses and private donors. In total, over $2,000 in cash and merchandise will be awarded to artists whose work is selected by the nationally known Ohio artist Chuck Marshall, who will serve as judge.

The 2026 Mariemont Paint Out is an art competition for plein air painters and an event that brings artists into the public eye. All artists are invited to come and paint the lovely settings and quaint village architecture nestled in this quiet corner slightly east of Cincinnati.

Parks, walking trails, and overlooks are abundant within the Village and maps with featured points of interest are provided.  At the conclusion of the Paint Out, the public is invited to join the artists for a reception, awards presentation, and the opportunity to purchase some very fresh fine art.

Canvases stamped Friday, October 16, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Fifty West in Mariemont and Saturday, October 17, 7:00 9:30 AM at The Barn, 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont

Paint Out concludes at 4:00 PM Saturday when all works must be presented at The Barn

Reception & Art Sale: Saturday October 17, 6:00 – 8:30 PM — PUBLIC INVITED
