Indian Hill Historical Society to Host 5th Annual Authors Series Featuring Peter Bronson

The Indian Hill Historical Society will host its 5th Annual Authors Series on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Indian Hill High School Sue Harder Memorial Performing Arts Center, 6865 Drake Rd, 45243.

This year’s featured author is Peter Bronson, an award-winning journalist, historian, and former Cincinnati Enquirer editor. Bronson has written several acclaimed books exploring the history of the Midwest. His latest work, Promised Land: How the Midwest Was Won, chronicles the perilous lives of settlers along the Ohio River and in the Northwest Territory.

Known for his engaging presentations and compelling insights into Midwest history, Bronson will share stories from his latest book and discuss the historical events that transformed the American frontier.

Through vivid storytelling and historical research, the author examines the conflicts and key battles among pioneers, Native Americans, and the British. These pivotal engagements tested the courage and perseverance of all involved and helped shape both the Midwest and the nation. Their legacy remains an important part of the region’s heritage today.

The event is free and open to the public, including students and teachers, local residents, history enthusiasts, and members of the Historical Society.
